Description of Fire Station Inn:
The Fire Station Inn was the very first Fire Station in South Australia. The classic Victorian 2 storey building with its neo Roman pillars and decorative masonry is simply an architectural delight. We have 3 unique stunning suites:
• Fire Engine Spa Suite
• Residency Penthouse
• Loggia Spa Suite
The Fire Engine Spa Suite has a very spacious king size spa with highlights of red checked tiles, a jarrah bar with fitted galley kitchen, fire engine red hood lights, terra cotta tiled heated floor and a life size 1942 Fire Truck!!
The Loggia Spa Suite has an intimate romantic bedroom which opens through French doors onto a private flagstone walled Tuscan courtyard with lions head fountain. The spa bathroom has 2 walls of thick glass bricks which flood the spa with warm light.
The Residency Penthouse has 2 bedrooms, both featuring French doors with a feathered creamy paint finish touched with gold, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a spacious jarrah bench and an open plan entertaining area which looks out onto a 7 metre sundeck with designer outdoor dining furniture. The marble tiled bathroom has a king size spa and is flooded with natural light. The Fire Inn is located in Tynte Street and is just a quick stroll from the proliferation of café’s and shops on O’Connell Street.
