| Getting there |
The township of Point Lookout is located on the northern tip of Stradbroke Island Close to the Gold Coast and approximately 20km from the township of Dunwich. Access to North Stradbroke Island is by regular vehicle ferry service from Toondah Harbour Ferry terminals at Middle Street, Cleveland.
Additionally, fast modern water taxis operate regular scheduled services to Dunwich. Taxis are met on arrival by the island bus service. |

Whale Watch Ocean Beach Resort is situated within a short walking distance to the Point Lookout Surf Club, which it overlooks. All other major Point Lookout attractions, including the famous North Gorge Headlands Walk, Captains Cook's Lookout, the Blowhole, outdoor cafes and art galleries are within easy walking distance. Whale Watching at it's finest.
