We are located at Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland. (Amber Lodge is the closest B&B to Gallery Walk) The Tourist Strip on MT Tamborine.

The property is rated 4 star. Amber Lodge offers queen-sized luxury suites with comfortable old world decor and all rooms have ensuites. All of our guests rooms are on the ground floor for easy access to the lodge.

The property also features a collection of board games, books and a large selection of DVDs to choose from.

We are one of the few accommodation houses that offer a cooked breakfast 7 days a week. Guests are treated to a choice of either a cooked breakfast or hot croissants or our signature dish " Wild Berry Crepes". If you have any special dietary requirements please indicate when making your booking.

The building is a colonial style. Amber Lodge is only a few steps to the famous MT Brewery & Witches Chase Cheese Factory and Gallery Walk where you will find beautiful cafes, restaurants, art galleries, antique and craft shops. Tamborine Mountain also offers a creative and alternative way of life with massage therapists, crystal shops and spiritual offerings. The Gold Coast's major theme parks are just 20km away.

Take exit 57 off the Pacific Motorway and follow the road to Mt Tamborine (20km) at the top go straight through the roundabout and we are the 3rd building on the left. 8 Wongawallan Rd.

Walk to Gallery Walk and visit restaurants, cafes, art galleries, antique and craft shops. Take a trip to the many wineries, or see the waterfalls, bush walks and bird watching which are just a short walk from Amber Lodge. Amber Lodge is right in the centre of all the action at Mt Tamborine.

Mt Tamborine is a great place for weddings and is well catered for, we cater for wedding parties and pre-wedding preparations.
