From the airport – 20 Kilometres North West exiting the airport driveway
•Turn left onto the A3 Highway and over the Tasman Bridge following the signs into Hobart.
•At the roundabout with a fountain in the middle, proceed straight ahead onto Liverpool Street.
•At the Tasmanian Police Station turn right into Argyle Street and follow for approximately 2 km.
•When Argyle Street becomes a two way street, Rydges Hobart is located on the right hand side of the road, through the Federal Street traffic lights.

Taxi is approximately $35.00 and a 20minute drive.

•Airport Shuttle Service is approx. $12.00/$14.00 per person one way.

•From the CBD area – From the Mall, travel North up Elizabeth Street,
•Turn right into Federal Street and left onto Argyle Street.

*The Cadbury's Chocolate Factory is open every Mon-Fri. Bookings are essential and can be organised at reception. Located in Claremont which is approximately 30 minutes drive from Hobart. Ask at reception for directions.

*Richmond is a great half day tour for everyone! Visit the famous Lollie Shop, Historic Jail, Maze and the Oldest Bridge in Australia. Approximately 30 minutes drive from Hobart. See reception for more information.

*Cascade Brewery Tours - If you are a lover of Tasmanian Cascade Beer and other beverages, visit the factory for a look at how they are made. Why not even take part in the factory tour and have a taste! Bookings are essential.

*Mt Wellington - For the most amazing panoramic view of Hobart, take a drive to the top of Mt Wellington! 30 minutes in the car is all it takes and you will experience a view never to be forgotten! Remember to pack your winter woolies...it gets quite cold at the top!

*Enjoy a cruise - For a site seeing tour with a difference why not take a cruise on the Derwent River! Brooke Street Pier is the place to go for your selection of companies offering cruises that will suit you. From lunch & dinner cruises to a day cruise to Peppermint Bay or Bruny Island.
