Bar impresario Grant Collins, the creative force behind the famed Zeta Bar at the Hilton Sydney, has teamed up with renowned Master of Wine Dr Ron Georgiou. Together, they’re set to launch Melbourne’s next must-visit destination: Sotano Wine and Tapas Bar.
Surely the city's most innovative venue, Sotano's soaring wine cellar is a gravity-defying gantry suspended from seven-metre-high ceilings in the centre of the bar. It houses an exceptional cellar of over 2,200 bottles. The show-stopping charcuterie tower, laden with exquisite meats and cheeses, anchors the Barcelona-style tapas menu.

Directions to the CBD
From the lobby, walk to the South Bank of the Yarra River and cross the pedestrian bridge into the city CBD. Alternatively, a taxi will take approximately five to 10 minutes.

Directions from Tullamarine Airport
From the airport, take the Western Ring Rd to the Westgate Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue approximately 2km onto the Montague St Exit. Turn right onto Lorimer St - you'll find the hotel 300m ahead on the left.
