Albacore Apartments offer 4.5 star, modern and fully self-contained accommodation with magnificent water views. We are situated right on the Merimbula Lake, only 4 minutes walk to the centre of town and main surf beach.
We offer 16 x 2 Bedroom & 4 x 1 Bedroom apartments. All 2BR apartments have ensuite and bathroom with large spa. Fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave etc. Washing machine and dryer, hair dryer, TV, Video, DVD, HiFi system, and free Austar to all apartments. All apartments offer ironing facilities, telephones and air conditioning. Magnificent water views and private balcony. Spacious Studio apartment offers kitchenette facilities as well as entertainment listed above.
The complex offers a resort-style heated swimming pool, sunny courtyard and BBQ area. Security undercover parking and lift to all floors.
Easy access to magnificent golf courses, bowling greens, fishing or walks in our surrounding National Parks and State Forests.
The climate is very mild and pleasant in winter. Walk along the fabulous beaches or on the nearby boardwalk. Merimbula is surrounded by National Parks and winter is a perfect time for bush walking.

| Getting there |
Merimbula is situated on the Sapphire Coast not far from the NSW and Victorian border. Travelling by car, it is seven hours from Melbourne and five and a half hours from Sydney, and only 2 and a half hours from Canberra. Merimbula Airport has daily connecting flights to Sydney and Melbourne, and buses from capital cities also arrive daily.
Albacore Apartments can be located easily in Market Street opposite Merimbula Lake. Guests can arrange with Reception to be collected from either the bus terminal or airport. |
| Things to do in the area |
Merimbula offers many natural attractions as well as man-made activities. The area is surrounded by magnificent national parks along the coastline and inland. Apart from the fishing and boating activities available to ocean and lake vessels, there are 5 excellent golf courses within 20 minutes drive, bowling clubs, tennis, whale watching, diving, surfing, horse-riding etc.
Merimbula plays host to a number of golfing, bowling and tennis tournaments each year, as well as an annual Jazz Festival, Country Music Festival, Mambo weekend, and of course Eden's Whale Festival. Merimbula is situated only 20 minutes drive from Eden to the south, and Bega and Tathra to the north. |
