Hotel Blue & Conference Centre is ideally equipped to host small-to-moderately sized conference groups. In contrast to large inner-city hotels, where small groups may be easily overlooked, we specialise in offering a uniquely personal service in both the planning and execution of group events. Even for smaller groups, this can include exclusive use of all Hotel facilities, including Board Room, Lounge, Bar, Restaurant, Swimming Pool and Spa.
Full-day conference packages start from $69/person, including room hire, lunch and morning & afternoon tea. Half-day packages start from $59/person, including room hire, lunch and morning/afternoon tea.
Individual or twin-share options are available for accommodation.
Team-building activities and group excursions can be arranged.

GETTING TO KATOOMBA BY CAR
From Sydney, Katoomba is approximately 90 minutes’ drive west along the Great Western Highway. Take the Katoomba exit (on the left) and turn left at the first round-about into Bathurst Rd. Then take the second turn on the right into Lurline St. Hotel Blue will be on your left after 800 metres.

GETTING TO KATOOMBA BY TRAIN
From Sydney Airport, take the AirTrain to Sydney Central Station (15 minutes). From Sydney Central, take a train on the Blue Mountains line, bound for Katoomba, Mt Victoria or Lithgow. Disembark at Katoomba Station (2hrs 15 minutes).

FROM KATOOMBA STATION
Hotel Blue is 15 minutes’ walk from Katoomba Station following the driving direction above. Taxi cabs are also readily available. The Blue Mountains Explorer Bus is also a great option:

BLUE MOUNTAINS EXPLORER BUS
The Explorer Bus is a tourist bus with a great live commentary about the Blue Mountains. Departing every 30 minutes approx. between 9:45 am and 4:30 pm from Katoomba Station, the bus route services all points of interest in Katoomba and Leura, including train stations, shopping and dining districts, hotels, waterfalls and scenic lookouts, including Echo Point and the Three Sisters, and Scenic World’s rides, which are a great way of taking in the spectacular views of the Mountains.
Your Explorer Bus ticket is valid for the duration of your stay in the Blue Mountains (up to 7 days). Tickets are $36 for adults, with concession fares available for children, students and pensioners. Hotel Blue guests are entitled to a 10% discount when proof of booking is presented.

Katoomba is a hub of activity that not only attracts tourists from around the globe, but also draws Sydneysiders whose favourite retreat is the serenity of the deep blue hills, and travellers who come to explore the myriad of antique and vintage emporiums, wander through the local art galleries and enjoy the thriving live music scene.
To help you get as much as possible out of your stay in the Mountains, Hotel Blue offers a variety of tailored packages, which can include Explorer Bus tickets to get you to all the local attractions and back to the Hotel again, entry to the nearby Jenolan Caves, and passes for Scenic World’s spectacular Skyway, Railway and Scenic Cableway rides, taking in the best views the Jamison Valley has to offer. We can also arrange outdoor and adventure activities such as guided scenic tours, eco tours, bushwalking, horse riding, mountain biking, abseiling, rock climbing and canyoning.
