ROBYNS NEST

Winner of the 2007 NSW South Coast Tourism Awards - Best FSC Accommodation.

Set on 100 acres of bushland with 25 acres of absolute lakefront Robyns Nest Guest House was established in 2000. The cottages were completed in 2003. All are built to a superior standard using solid brick walls, mahogony harvested from the property, sandstone quarried from the property.

Open fireplace, library, Axminster carpets and timber panelling create a warm restful atmosphere consistent with a bygone era but with the modern comforts of home There are a total of 20 rooms, all with ensuite (some with spa baths) making us truly Boutique. Facilities within each B&B room consist of TV/DVD, tea/coffee, brocade coverlets, softest towels rinsed in home grown lavender water, bathrobes.

Our FSC cottages consist of A/C, TV/DVD, leather lounges, dining, a kitchen made from mahogany from the land, full laundry facilities, 1 or 2 bedrooms, with either a spa bath or 2 bathrooms and a private balcony with BBQ overlooking the magical top lake. Amenities consist of solar heated pool, spas,sauna, competition standard synthetic grass tennis court and a new jetty over prime fish breeding grounds.

Activities include fishing, bushwalking,scuba diving, golf, birdwatching incredible horse riding or just doing nothing. In house massage can be arranged. Breakfasts served in the Guest House are a home grown affair using as much as possible local produce and all cooked to order. Home made jams, fresh eggs, locally cured bacon....all served to the sound of the 60 identified varieties of bird located at Robyns Nest.

Robyns Nest has won the Regional Tourism Awards for the past 5 years for Best Hosted Accommodation, and won the "All Class Accommodation up to 5 Star Standard" in 2002,Best BnB 2003, 2004, Award of Distinction 2005, winner Best FSC Accommodation 2007

Robyns Nest has a Conference facility that can cater for up to 40 delegates. Internet and fax facilities are available in the conference centre or the Guest House. There are no phones in the rooms but mobile reception is excellent.

Reception hours are from 7.30am to 7.30pm only.
Late check in will strictly only be available with prior phone consultation during office hours with the resort. If you are held up & will not be arriving by 7.30pm phone contact must be made with the resort prior to 7.30pm. Robyns Nest is situated halfway between Sydney to Melbourne on the coastal Highway.

We are situated 29 kilometres south of Bega, 2 kilometres north of the Town Centre of Merimbula.

Flights between Sydney and Merimbula are 3 times daily, and from Melbourne daily flights are available.

Rental cars are available from the airport. Robyns Nest also offers complimentary airport transfers if requested.

Merimbula is a coastal town with pristine beaches, whale watching in season, scuba diving, fishing in the lake or deep sea fishing.Enjoy a 4 hour horse ride along the beach around ocean cliffs and through the rainforest. 3 major golf courses are available locally, historical towns are within 1 hour drive, 80% of the shire is National Park suitable for bushwalking, birdwatching. A fun Park is available for the young at heart, cinemas and over 20 fine restaurants. Robyns Nest offer's some water sports during the summer months, with surf ski's, canoe and some motor towed sports available at an additional cost. Robyns Nest also offer's tours of some local wineries, art & craft & local historical villages on our own private tour bus with prior arrangements.
