Located 3 1/2 hrs drive nth Brisbane and 25 mins from Maryborough. The Beachside Motor Inn, Hervey Bay is situated on the Esplanade opposite the beach and parklands. With the central business district, RSL Club and shops only 200 metres behind the motel it makes it for a perfect location for your holiday on the Fraser Coast of Queensland.
Upon arrival at Beachside Motor Inn you will receive a detailed map of Hervey Bay and any information on tours etc the magnificent heritage listed Fraser Island and is also considered to be the Whale Watch capital of the world. We are able to provide expert advice and guidance for no extra charge. Most tours offer free transfers to and from our motel. We pride ourselves in our prompt friendly service.
All of our motel units and family suites are situated on the ground floor with ample parking right outside your door and we have two, two bedroom self-contained apartments available on the second floor. All our rooms are non-smoking,however the are chairs and ashtrays outside of each room , they are clean and modern with queen-sized beds, air conditioning plus ceiling fans. We have everything including a kitchen sink, ensuite bathrooms, refrigerators, kettle, toaster, direct dial telephones, iron, ironing boards and FREE CABLE TELEVISION.
We can provide you with a beautifully cooked breakfast as well as an evening meals delivered right to your room. We also have a guest laundry with clothes dryer for your convenience.

How to get to Beachside Motor Inn:
Fly - from Brisbane
Drive - 3 1/2 hours north of Brisbane on the Bruce Highway. Turnoff at Maryborough. Follow the Maryborough - Hervey Bay road to
Hervey Bay.
Beachside Motor Inn is situated only 200m from the centre of town on the corner of the Esplanade and Taylor Street. Everything you need is within short walking distance. Buses and taxis service the city, and limousine transfers are available.
The local Hervey Bay airport is 6 km away, offering scenic flights to and over Fraser Island, whale watching (in season), or a trip to Brisbane in 45 minutes.
The closest international airport is in Brisbane, about three and a half hours drive from Hervey Bay.
Things to do while staying at Beachside Motor Inn:
With it's mild climate, Hervey Bay is a wonderful holiday destination in all seasons. The calm waters of the bay are the playground of magnificent humpback whales from mid July - early November.
Trips operate daily to magnificent Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world and to Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Accommodation can be arranged for a stay-over on either Island.
Other activities include fishing, wave ski and sea kayaking, a snorkelling and coral viewing trip, sailing and dinner cruises,swimming, cycling the 14km Esplanade bike track, scenic flights, golf, horse riding, botanic gardens, museum, and the historic town of Maryborough and the rum city of Bundaberg are an easy drive away.
