Loft In The Mill is perfectly located opposite Olinda Village right at the top of the picturesque Dandenong Ranges and Mount Dandenong. Walking distance to a variety of boutique shops, enchanting gardens, galleries, quaint tearooms and quality restaurants. 16 Restaurants are within a two kilometre radius from the property and 9 Wedding Reception Venues are within a seven kilometre radius. A short distance away is the local golf course, William Ricketts Sanctuary, the National Rhodedendron Gardens, Alfred Nicholas Gardens, Cloudehill Gardens and Victoria’s Second Most Popular Tourist Attraction, Skyhigh Restaurant(Where we can arrange a free stretch Limousine Pick Up and return to your Suite for Dinner). 15 minutes away is Puffing Billy Steam Railway and Trees Adventure or the Yarra Valley’s numerous wineries.

All tariffs include light continental breakfast and cooked breakfast vouchers at $15 per head are redeemable at either Ranges Restaurant opposite the property or Relish Café in the Mount Dandenong Village which is only a 900 metre walk.

King Arthur Suite – Go on treat yourself like royalty, you deserve it. This suite has a mediaeval feel, with its slate floor and dark exposed beams. While providing all the modern luxuries of King size bed with a 4 posted Black king size spa at the foot of it, crackling log fire, slab floor heating underneath and French doors opening onto your private courtyard positioned to take in the sunset and complete with romantic wicker style outdoor setting and shade umbrella. Also suitable for persons in a wheelchair with the addition of two threshold ramps, commode chair for the toilet and a shower chair for the lipless shower which are all held at reception and set up prior to your arrival if required. Loft Suite – The whole top floor to yourself. Enjoy the space, style and comfort of our largest suite with Luxurious double spa in the separate bathroom, Four poster Queen size bed in the Ralph Lauren Wallpapered Master bedroom, mezzanine level Loft Style sleeping quarters or second bedroom with your choice of either 2 King size single beds or a King Size bed. The Carriagehouse – A 3 bedroom, 2 storey 30 sq Bluestone House featuring Queen Size Beds in two bedrooms and a King Size Bed that can split into two King Size Single Beds in the Master bedroom, luxurious double spa in the bathroom, open plan lounge and formal dining areas with open Log Fire, heated floor and glassed conservatory suitable for conferencing/entertainment, a full kitchen, laundry, can sleep up to 8 people with the addition of two single folding beds available on the property. 42 Inch LCD TV, DVD & CD Player. By Vehicle: The quickest way from Melbourne International Airport is to drive along City Link (which is a tollway and the toll for a one way trip for the distance that you will travel is $6.42. You phone 132629 and can pay the toll on your credit card up to 24 hours after your trip.) into Melbourne, stay on City Link as it crosses Bolte Bridge and take the sign “South Eastern Suburbs”, proceed through the Burnley tunnel remaining on City Link and as it exits the tunnel the road is known as the South Eastern or Monash Freeway, continue travelling on this same Freeway to the exit for Fern Tree Gully Road on your left, exit and travel along Fern Tree Gully Road for about 8 kilometres until you get to the intersection with Burwood Highway. Turn right at this intersection and travel about another 3 kilometres until you get to the base of the mountain where you will see a “Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Olinda” exit on your left, take that and travel the 10 kilometres to the top of the Mountain and Olinda Village where you will see the Bluestone Loft In The Mill building opposite the western or city end of Olinda Village. Total travel time One Hour, In Peak Traffic, up to One and Three quarters of an hour. Above we have also included a toll free route from the Airport to The Loft in The Mill.

By Train: Catch the Belgrave Line train from any of the city’s Railway Stations and go to Belgrave. The Bus Stop is immediately outside the Railway Station and grab a US Bus Lines Bus Route 694 which will take you to Olinda Village at the top of the mountain where the bus stop is immediately opposite the Loft In The Mill. Alternatively you can catch a Lilydale bound train and get out at Croydon Railway Station then catch a Ventura Bus Lines Bus Route 688 which terminates at the same Bus terminal in Olinda Village opposite the Loft in The Mill.

Bushwalking in the adjoining Dandenong Ranges National Park, nearby Sherbrooke Forest or the numerous parks such as William Ricketts Sanctuary, National Rhodedendron Gardens, Cloudehill Gardens or Alfred Nicholas or George Tindale Memorial Gardens.

Winery Tours of the adjacent Yarra Valley within 15 minute drive.
