How to get to Home Backpackers:

ARRIVING AT CENTRAL STATION (bus or train)
HOME Backpackers is only a two minute walk from Central Station, Sydney’s major transport hub for local and interstate travel. Leave the station and find the Elizabeth Street exit, walk 200-400 metres to your left (depending on your exit point), cross the road and HOME Backpackers is right there at number 238 Elizabeth Street.

ARRIVING BY PLANE (two options)
1 - Catch the train to Central station (cost around $16.40) and follow Central Station directions above.
2 - If you are staying for a minimum of three days we will pay for your direct shuttle. Just keep the receipt. Ask at Airport Information for the shuttle bus to the City. Let the driver know where you’re going and they will drop you off at our reception

Things to do while staying at Home Backpackers:

Situated just near Central Station on the edge of the CBD, all the major attractions are with in 30 minutes walk or bus ride.
Some of the activities close by include Darling Harbour, China Town, and the CBD shopping district.

We are very close to all the major sporting, concert and festival venues:
The Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
Sydney Football Stadium (SFS) and Moore Park
Centennial Park
Sydney Exhibition Centre
