Cedar Creek meanders its way down from atop Tamborine Mountain. Shaded under magnificent rainforest canopy, its banks are home to a wonderland of wildlife - from timid platypus, and magnificent birds with songs and plumage to match, to mysterious glow worms twinkling away like a fairyland in places dark and damp. Also nestled in the Mountain, our Refurbished Hillside Lodges are ideally situated to absorb the full splendour of this sub-tropical Garden of Eden.
Thunderbird Park offers many activities, such as Adventure Parc, Tamborine Mountain Trail Rides, fossicking for Thundereggs, Laser Skirmish, mini golf, bush walks, rock pool, swimming pool, tennis, and volley ball.
Our licensed restaurant, 'Rainforest', is open every day and Friday and Saturday evenings (a la carte) for both in-house guests and visitors.
We can also organise winery tours, and massages (advance notice required for both of these extras), and/or can include little extras such as chocolate-dipped strawberries, cheese & fruit platter, or champagne waiting for you in your room ... please phone us to organise any of these extras.

Premium Room (in Frog Lodge)
The Premium Rooms (in Frog Lodge) are modern rooms with queen-sized beds, LCD Flat-screen TVs, in-house movies (free), telephone, toaster, clock radio, refrigerator, table and chairs, reverse cycle A/C, and private bathroom facilities. Frog Lodge is set high on a hill overlooking the natural bush of Tamborine Mountain, and its rainforest surrounds. Linen, towels, soaps, coffee, tea and milk supplied. There are two queen-sized beds in each Premium Room – in the same room, motel style. The rate for two people in a Premium Room is $179 per night Sun – Thurs (plus $39 for each additional guest), and $199 Fri or Sat (plus $49 for each additional guest). These rates include breakfast in our restaurant for all occupants.
Baby Cot: $9.99 - payable to hotel. The baby cot can be included within the room's maximum capacity.
