The Elms has been carefully restored to reflect the original splendor of its period. The antique furnishings and decor create an ambience such that you feel you are entering this beautiful mansion at the time it was first established early last century.
The Elms is one of a number of Hobart's landmark buildings. It is entered in the Register of the National Estate as an outstanding example of a large house of World War One vintage.
Delightful gardens are a feature of the large property and a favourite place guests like to relax in the shade of the lovely old trees.
Enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast between 8am -9am with a relaxing atmosphere of the Dining Room with an outlook onto our beautiful English garden and the Derwent river.
The Guests Lounge is a wonderful place to relax and share experiences with other travellers over a complimentary sherry, or a wine from our honesty cellar.
