Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort is influenced by the cultural diversity and distinct Australian Outback characteristics of the Northern Territory. 2002 winner of the Brolga Award for “Unique Accommodation” we are located just 87 km from Darwin City and we are a tourist attraction where day visitors are welcome.
The Resort is set around the shores of an 81 hectare fresh water lake located within 125 hectares of tropical Australian bushland.
We have a range of accommodation to suit individual tastes and budgets, and for coach companies and group bookings. The style of accommodation has been constructed with both conservation and integration in mind, ensuring the bungalows are unobtrusive along the waters edge. Inside, the facilities are remarkable, comfortable and relaxing, just the way you need it after a long day out on the water or in the nearby bush.

Reed beds hide a variety of unspoilt aquatic life from wading birds to fish. Activities include bush walking, bird watching and photography or you can take to the pristine water of the lake by canoe.
