Six of the worlds top 30 bull riders will compete in this months Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Troy Dunn International in Townsville.

The 40-man competition pits ten of the worlds best international bull riders against 30 of Australias greatest, including two making a name for themselves on the U.S PBR circuit, Brendon Clark (ranked 22 in the world) and Jared Farley.

The richest bull ride in Australia, the PBR Troy Dunn International, on at the Townsville Entertainment Centre Friday May 23 and Saturday May 24, puts the cream of the worlds riders from nations such as the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, up against our own finest bull riding athletes.
Led by American pin-up J.B. Mauney, currently ranked number four in the world, the international contingent of ten has its work cut out, not only against Australias 30 bravest young riders but also against our explosive bovine powerhouses.  This is Australia versus the Rest of the World (ROW) and man versus beast, right here in our own back yard.

On the Friday of the two-night competition, the ten internationals compete as a team (identified as the Rest of the World) against ten of Australias best in a format called Australia vs the Rest of the World (ROW). 
Each of the 20 riders ride twice and the combined scores tallied to determine which team takes the winning title. 
Country music star Adam Harvey performs and gives the audience an exclusive behind the scenes insight as the events special guest commentator.

On Saturday night, the ten international bull riders and 30 of Australias best will compete in an individual-format competition that sees each of the 40 bull riders ride once in the first round (bucked over three sections), with the top ten progressing to the Championship round.  The highest scorer will take the PBR Troy Dunn International title.
