CNN reports on an American man on holiday in Mexico was charged $88,635 ($62,000USD) for the download of Disney movie Wall-E!

The 98 minute movie was downloaded using his laptop's wireless card.  The man had not read the fine print on his plan's international roaming limitations and incurred the massive fee on his mobile phone account.  Through some negotiations the man was able to argue the roaming service provider down to a charge of $24,270 ($17,000USD) which the provider maintains was the 'actual' cost of the download.

Point to note:  check your roaming policy before travelling overseas!
