Palazzo Versace Gold Coast is delighted to announce the arrival of new General Manager Mr Russell Durnell.
Mr Durnell comes to Palazzo Versace with more than 20 years' experience in the luxury hotel and tourism industry. Prior to accepting this role at Palazzo Versace, Mr Durnell spent two years in Hong Kong as Langham Hotels International (LHI) Director of Sales and Marketing - Projects. He was appointed the LHI regional role having spent nearly four successful years' at The Langham, Melbourne and The Langham, Hong Kong as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mr Durnell's extensive career has seen him work at a number of Australasia's most luxurious hotels including Sheraton on the Park Sydney, W Sydney (now Blue Hotel), and The Heritage Brisbane in addition to The Langham, Melbourne, The Langham, Hong Kong and LHI, Hong Kong. In each role, Mr Durnell has ensured the hotels' success with his business aptitude, attention to detail and natural charisma.
